Mission:
The mission of the Peter J. King Family Foundation is to provide bricks and mortar funding to organizations whose activities are dedicated to the improvement of children’s health, education and welfare, and to building a stronger family environment.
Additional Criteria
Beyond furthering the mission of the Peter J. King Family Foundation, grant requests will be evaluated against the following criteria:

Emphasis on economically disadvantaged areas

Organizations’ proven ability to sustain operations over the long term

Maximizes the number of people benefiting from the grant

Emphasis as major donor

Geographic Focus:

Organizations operating primarily in the inner cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul

Organizations serving a broader community, provided greater than 50% of those it serves lives in Hennepin and Ramsey counties

Organizations serving people beyond Hennepin and Ramsey counties, provided their origin is from the core cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul and the significant majority of the population served resides within the 7-county Metropolitan area
